De Montford and Cornwallis are before Mrs Sutherland for smoking pot in the school grounds.

Mrs Sutherland is determined to find out where the girls got it from. If that means taking the cane to their bottoms, so be it!

Having to attend a governors meeting Mrs Sutherland sends the girls to see Mr Radford the Housemaster.
